Flights to Indonesia
There are direct flights operating from Heathrow and Gatwick to Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport, also known as Denpasar Airport, as well as to Jakarta and Surabaya. There are regular flights operating from many UK airports to Jakarta International Airport, located 12 miles (20km) north west of Jakarta. The flight from London takes approximately 10 to 11 hours. Please be aware that the air travel market is constantly changing, therefore, we recommend to contact us for an updated version of flight destinations, timetables and fares.

Time difference: GMT +7 West, including Java and Sumatra, GMT +8 Central, including Bali, Sulawesi and Lombok, GMT +9 East, including Irian Jaya.
Weather in Indonesia: Indonesia experiences hot, humid weather throughout the year, especially along the coastal areas. The inland highlands are somewhat cooler. The climate of Indonesia is dominated by heavy monsoon rains, which occur between December and March, often causing damage and making local travel difficult. The best time to travel to Indonesia is therefore during the dry season, between April and October.
Currency: Indonesian Rupiah
Visa requirements: EU and/or British citizens must have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the date of their arrival in Indonesia. A 30-day tourist visa will be obtained on arrival.
Health: No vaccinations are required to enter Indonesia. If you are planning to visit an area of Indonesia with malaria or dengue fever, we recommend that you discuss with your doctor.
