Tanzania Holidays

Why choose Tanzania for your holiday?

Famous for the wildlife reserves and national parks, beachside resorts on the historic island of Zanzibar with unspoiled reefs for diving and a rich, diverse culture, Tanzania will make your visit a memorable one.

Just one of the reasons so many make the trip to Tanzania is for the national parks. Serengeti, arguably the most famous in the world, offers a diversity of animal and plant life that will take your breathe away.  Rich, endless landscapes that witness the largest migration in the world sees over one million wildebeest marching across the plains.  Prides of lion, dainty herds of gazelles, slowly ambling elephants and a host of other species and birds are encountered during any safari to this or any other of the national parks that Tanzania is renowned for.

Ngorongoro Crater and Mt Kilimanjaro

The unique Ngorongoro Crater is a natural phenomenon that is a must-see for most visitors and for those seeking a more reclusive safari experience, the southern Selous Reserve offers a unique bush-safari experience.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and another reason many visitors make Tanzania their destination.

Zanzibar and The Coast

For those looking to relax, there are many striking beaches with sheltering offshore reefs for visitors to explore. First timers can take advantage of dive courses surrounded by delicate corals and shoals of colouful fish.

Zanzibar Island provides a sanctuary for those who appreciate their privacy as the resorts here offer a true sand-between-the-toes style of luxurious hideaway. The coral ruins offer another reason to make the trip to this most beautiful of coastal areas.

Travellers with an interest in conservation and sustainability are now heading to Tanzania to explore its rich tribal heritage. As time goes by these tribes are slowly losing their identity so now, more than ever, is the time to visit Tanzania to fully appreciate its diverse heritage and help maintain it by contributing to the local economy.
