We respect the privacy of our clients/customers and suppliers/affiliates hence our commitment to the following privacy policy, which is produced in order to give you peace of mind and confidence in The Couture Travel Company, our affiliates and/or suppliers.
Personal information we request from you
Regardless of whether you are booking a holiday, requesting a brochure, or joining The Couture Travel Club, we
will require your name, your postal address, your telephone and fax number and e-mail address.
If you are booking your holiday online, we'll also need your credit/debit card details, including card number, cardholder name, expiry date and start date for MasterCard and 3 digit security number in order to take payment and confirm the booking on-line. If you're paying by debit card we may also request the cards start date and issue number of the card.
Personal information is used by The Couture Travel Company Ltd for the following
Bookings, brochure requests, The Couture Travel Club, if applicable, and/or in some cases for our affiliates and suppliers.
We always will request your name, address and/or e-mail address so that we can reply to any request, and/or advise you of special offers/promotions which may be of interest to you.
The option to not receive occasional marketing information from The Couture Travel Company and/or our affiliates/suppliers will always be available to you.
Online Bookings
We will require your name so we can confirm all details to the relevant hotels, airlines and/or affiliates/suppliers that the booking is to be forwarded to.
In addition we will need your address so that we can send you a confirmation invoice as well as any travel documents and in case we have to write to you about any part of your booking in advance of your holiday and thereafter.
In the event that we need to get in contact with you urgently regarding any part of your booking/enquiry we also require telephone and email contact details.
Parts and/or all of your contact details may also be used by us to advise you of special offers/promotions which may be of interest to you.
We will give you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving this information on the booking form.
We may also use your IP (Internet Protocol) address to diagnose problems with our server and administer the site - monitoring visitor traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop and improve The Couture Travel Company Ltd. website further.
We need your credit card details so that we can collect payment for and/or secure your booking.
Information you supply to us will be passed to our suppliers/affiliates such as airlines, hotels/resorts/lodges etc., ground transportation companies and agents only where necessary for the purposes of booking your holiday. This may include the transfer of information outside the EEA (European Economic Area).
Protecting Customer Information
All the information you give us is protected by a secure server. The secure server software SSL (Secure Socket Layers) encrypts all information you enter before it is sent to us. The information is only de-encrypted when it reaches our server.
We also have a Firewall (security software) in place to protect our internal information from the Internet.
Couture Travel Company Limited and the usage of cookies
The Couture Travel Company Ltd uses 'temporary cookies', which are only used during any enquiry and/or other process. (A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store on a web browser so it can later be read back from that browser. This is useful for having the browser remember some specific information (ref. Cookie Central).
Disclosure by The Couture Travel Company Limited of personal information to third parties
The Couture Travel Company Ltd. will only disclose your name and booking details to our suppliers/affiliates for operational purposes. We will not pass on your details to other companies for marketing purposes.
We won't disclose credit/debit card numbers unless we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

Infrequently we will send you mailings containing information that may be of interest to you. Should you not wish this type of contact with us, apart from during your booking/enquiry you will have the option to use the opt-out boxes on the online registration/booking form or alternatively, contact us at the address below.
